Benjamin has a number of years of experience in compliance and legal affairs in the securities and investment fund industry. Before joining the Priori-T Capital team, he held the position of Advisor and then Director, Compliance and Legal Affairs, at Hexavest from 2016 to 2021, having previously worked as an Analyst, Investment Funds, for the Autorité des marchés financiers, Quebec’s securities regulator. From 2010 to 2016, he worked at Fasken, where he was a member of the Corporate/Commercial Law Group, with a practice focused on securities laws and regulations. He was also part of the Investment Products and Wealth Management Sub-group. Benjamin holds a Civil Law Degree (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa and a Juris Doctor in North American Common Law (JD) from the Université de Montréal. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2012.
