Jean-François has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, particularly in capital markets. Before co-founding Priori-T Capital, he was Executive Vice-President and Managing Director at National Bank Financial. He was responsible for sales and trading activities for the fixed income, currencies and commodities businesses in addition to overseeing Corporate Debt Capital Markets, Government Debt Capital Markets, Global Power and Infrastructure Financing, and Risk Management Solutions. Previously he also held various positions in the derivatives sector at CIBC, Bankers Trust and Crédit Lyonnais in New York. In addition to his professional activities, he served as Co-Governor of National Bank’s United Way Centraide Campaign and as a Member of the Major Donors United Way Centraide Campaign Committee of Greater Montreal. Jean-François holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Montpellier and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University. He has also completed the Associate exams of the Society of Actuaries.
